We are looking to strengthen our QHSE team with a new colleague, who are ready to embrace and take ownership for the whole supplier management process, and secure supplies are in compliance with engineering specifications as well as production process parameters.
A key task will also be to further develop the global supplier quality strategy to support Fiberline Composites ongoing globalization journey.
You will be joining a diverse team of 11 specialist, engineers and technicians working with Quality and HSE, all located at our production site in Middelfart.
- Conduct audits and assessments globally.
- Define and establish Supplier Quality Manuals.
- Define incoming inspections criteria for raw materials.
- Monitor supplier process capability to secure compliance with defined production process parameters.
- Drive the 8D process toward the supplier related to quality issues and complains.
- Review supplier quality data continuously to identify potently improvement areas.
- Establish, monitor, and maintain supplier KPI´s.
- Participate in development of purchase specifications with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Drive qualifications of new suppliers through the PPAP process.
- Participate in new development projects.
- Work closely with the Quality team, Operational team, Sourcing team and other internal stakeholders when handling ongoing supplier quality problems and/or improvements
You hold a master’s degree in engineering, or an equivalent professional background combined with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on practical supplier quality management and/or quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment. You are used to conduct audits and ideally you possess Six Sigma Green belt certification or higher.
Besides that you have strong statistical analytical skills and are familiar with PPAP and APQP.
As person you have strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbally and are capable of interfacing with numerous parties at all levels.
Some travel (about 40-50 days) will be required to conduct onsite supplier quality audits.
