Gatehouse Satcom, in partnership with satellite operators like Viasat/Inmarsat, has been a pivotal force in the satellite communication industry for over two decades. Our expertise spans from developing protocol software for BGAN satellite terminals to innovating in the 5G NTN domain through LEO, MEO, and GEO satellite systems. Our work includes the development of NB-IoT and New Radio protocol stacks, and we play an active role in the 3GPP standardization, ensuring our products align with the latest advancements.
We serve leading equipment manufacturers and operators in the aviation, defense, and space sectors. With demand for our expertise growing, we are seeking a technically adept Software Project Manager to lead our projects in both BGAN and 5G spheres.
About the Job
As a Project Manager, you'll oversee deliveries to clients and manage our internal development initiatives. Reporting to the VP of Technology, you will lead development teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires a balanced approach to working with a variety of stakeholders and contributing to sales and project planning efforts.
About You
You're currently excelling in a software project management role, with a deep understanding of managing technically complex projects on an international scale. Experience in 4G/5G telecommunications systems is ideal, but a quick learning ability and technical adaptability are key.
Your experience should include:
- Direct customer engagement and international collaboration with a delivery-focused mindset.
- Reporting to and managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
- Financial management of projects, including revenue recognition and procurement.
- Contribution to business development through project estimation and planning.
Your self-driven nature and professional drive make you a natural leader, eager to pioneer new technologies.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential, and experience with international collaborations is highly valued.
