At GateHouse SatCom, we are looking for experienced candidate for an exciting position in a business area with ambitious growth plans.



GateHouse SatCom delivers innovative B2B software solutions for the global Satcom industry. For more than 20 years we have developed software products within embedded software and test solutions to the satellite communication business.


Right now, we are developing a new business area for satellite communication via 5G technology. We have the first customers onboard - and are ready to ramp-up our customer base.


The market for 5G via satellite is in its onset and GateHouse is part of defining the 5G standards for satellite NB-IoT and front runner bringing this technology in to space.


Your responsibilities:

As Chief Commercial Officer in GateHouse SatCom, you will be part of an innovative company working with B2B sales to a strong global customer portfolio within the satellite industry.


Your main responsibility is to secure and develop the commercial success of all products and services by increasing revenue and customer satisfaction. Based on our sales strategy, you will be working to develop and optimize customer relationships and increase our footprint in a global market.


You are responsible for the execution of the whole sales process - and you take ownership for following up on inbound/outbound sales performance. Your primary responsibility is to win new business opportunities and develop new markets. In order to secure the success, you will have the leadership of 5-6 employees working in Sales, Marketing and Business Development.


As mentioned, you will participate from marketing and pre-sales activities - to commercial negotiations and closing contracts. An important part of the job is also to establish strategic partnerships and alliances. We project to double our turnover in the coming financial year, and you are the main responsible for continuing our growth to achieve this target.


Finally, you will be part of the management team in GateHouse SatCom and setting the direction for our future strategy.


Your profile:

You have an education in sales or marketing with a +10 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record.


Over and above, you should have a flair for global business development and have a drive for results.


It is essential to have some technical acumen, or an interest in technical products, to be able to understand and communicate about highly technical software products.


Telecommunications knowledge can be an advantage working with 5G communication solutions for satellite but is not a prerequisite.


We are looking for candidates that are proactive and outgoing and knows how to relate and communicate with customers. You work in a well-structured way and have a deep desire to succeed. You are motivated by creating both revenue and customer satisfaction. You like to work in an international environment with challenging decision makers.


As we are a company with global customers - you must be fluent in English. You will be based in our Nørresundby headquarters. You must expect upto 30 travel days yearly.
