As our new Commercial Sales Manager, you will play a key role in achieving the goals addressed by our business plan by developing new markets and our customer portfolio. We experience a growing demand for environmentally friendly energy solutions, especially within the telecom markets in Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Americas regions.
You will report to the SerEnergy Sales Manager and you will be a part of a strong team in a company driving the agenda of green technology with cutting-edge technology heading to solve the energy challenges of today and the future. This position is based in our Aalborg office, and you can expect approximately 40-50 days of travel per year, based on your own planning and activity level.
Your responsibilities will be to drive the commercial activities in your own geographic area, from promoting our products to end-customers to developing local partners who can distribute and install our systems. You will also be involved in market analysis, competitor analysis and other tasks and projects related to achieving our goals. You will establish and maintain relationships with customers and study their requirements, then coordinate internally with your technical colleagues to meet these requirements.

- Sales and customer relations worldwide
- Market and business development
- Promoting solutions to end-customers
- Pipeline management and reporting
- Budget planning and forecasting
- Finding and attracting the best installation & service partners
- Planning marketing activities
- Keeping CRM system up-to-date (we use Super Office)
You are a sales professional who is experienced with technical sales to big organizations. You speak and write English fluently and you have a structured and analytical approach to achieving your targets and building your network of customers. You are used to working independently while taking full responsibility for your customers and the sales process. You might already have experience from working in the telecom arena, but this is not a must. More importantly, you are experienced working with technical products, and you are successful due to a commercial mindset with technical flair or even based on a technical background. Experience building up new markets and relationships with customers are keys to your success, and you can keep focus even if the sales process takes months and years – still though with the mindset of closing sales when the timing is right. Working closely with a technical team to support the projects you bring in is natural to you and you master the skills of handling and handing over projects.
