SerEnergy is looking for a quality- and service-oriented Field Service Engineer to join our Service and Technical Support team, assisting our customers worldwide and ensuring a strong foundation to train partners and customers in the use of our Fuel cell system. This full-time position (37 hrs. / week) is located at our offices at Lyngvej 8, 9000 Aalborg, and some travel must be expected.
- Providing Level 3 support for partners and customers.
- Remote support and debugging.
- Onsite support and training.
- Develop and maintain service documentation and training material, including how-to-videos.
- Training of customers and partners in using our products and systems.
- Making field service statistics.
- Cooperate with development department about market driven product improvements and features.
- Support sales department with technical enquiries.
- You will report to the Operations Director.
We expect that you have minimum 5 years of experience within technical service and support and have a technical background, e.g., as marine engineer or similar education within electrical or thermal systems.
It is natural to you to communicate with a positive and professional attitude, even in tough situations – at the same time you prefer to consider yourself as a part of a team.
You are strong in documenting service activities to ensure data for improvements.
You work structured and can plan your own activities and tasks according to processes.
You are detail-oriented and have a good sense for quality and do not give up before the customer is happy.
You have some experience in communications systems and protocols as well as some understanding about PLCs and electrical systems and have good experience in technical troubleshooting.
You are a skilled user of computers and standard office software.
You must be fluent in English and Danish, both spoken and written. German language skills are helpful, but not required.
